13th – 15 th September NEC Birmingham

Following huge success at 2010's event, Svenco are once again exhibiting at RWM & CIWM 2011, the most important Waste Management exhibition in the UK calendar.

With over 650 exhibitors and in excess of 9,500 visitors expected, RWM & CIWM 2011 is an invaluable showcase for Svenco's products.

Svenco are able to bring almost 90 years experience of the Swedish preference for paper liners to the UK market and will be exhibiting their range of caddy liners and refuse sacks for the collection of food waste and garden waste.

Svenco will demonstrate the waterproof properties of the paper with a ‘Paper Pond' filled with flowing water which certainly grabs the interest of visitors to the stand

Processing difficulties with bio-plastic sacks, particularly in Anaerobic Digestion, have forced Waste Managers to look for an alternative and Svenco paper liners are proving the perfect solution. They can be composted in all processes without pre or post treatment, therefore reducing costs, increasing gas yields and ultimately creating a better compost to meet PAS 100 and PAS 110.

Come and visit us on Stand 1567 and see for yourself how Svenco can help to make a greener planet.

The new Gammapaper
Svenco Papperssäckar AB continue the work
with development of bags and sacks for collecting
of food waste.

Svenco has, together with a paper supplier made a new paper quality, Gammapaper. As well as being the waterproof paper that we use today, it is also more ventilated. By manufacturing Gammapaper with a scientifically specified ventilation (or porosity), the paper is stronger and will retain and absorb moisture while allowing the waste to ‘breathe' and therefore dry out quicker. Better ventilation will help to reduce smells and make the waste less attractive to flies and maggots and will also prevent the liner from freezing to the bin.
