1921
- President Sven Hansson founded "Sven Hansson &
Co"
- Wholesaler of paper, pasteboard and packthread
1920-1930's
- Manufacturing of bags and boxes began
1950
- First own real estate ready in Bromma (Stockholm,
Sweden)
- More than 100 employees
1966
- First own paper sack was produced
1971
- World unique manufacturing plant for paper sacks
inaugurated in Märsta (Stockholm, Sweden)
1975
- The company changed name to Svenco Papperssäckar AB
- Investment in two more paper sack machine lines
- The company became a refined paper sack manufacturer
1997
- Acquired the waste sack manufacturing section from
AssiDomän PacSac in Sweden and AssiDomän Scanisack in
Norway.
- Number one in Sweden and Norway at paper waste sacks
2000
- Over one billion paper sacks have been produced
- Investment in a fifth paper sack machine line gave 20
% increased production capacity
- Investment in full automic storage from Swisslog gave
25% more storage capacity
2005
- 19 employees work in two shifts
- Five paper sack machine lines from Windmöller &
Hölscher
- Products: paper waste sacks and compost bags
- Clients: mainly cleaning entrepreneurs,
municipalities, paper wholesalers and retailers in
Sweden, Norway, Denmark, northen Europe and to some
extent Asia
- Owned since 1983 by President Christer Hansson who
also actively runs the company
